Melissa CaldwellPractice Manager
I have been working in the medical field for the past 12 years. I currently work as a Podiatric Medical Assistant and am the Practice Manager at Dynamic Foot and Ankle Center. I enjoy patient interaction and focus on making sure that each of my patients and their family members have a great experience each time they are here in our office. I enjoy being able to build relationships with my patients and educating my patients on their current conditions. I have two children, a son and a daughter. I love the beach (especially the Outer Banks) and try to go as often as I can. When its college football season you can find me cheering on Virginia Tech. When I am not at work you will find me spending time with my children.
Lorie GillisMedical Receptionist
I joined the staff at Dynamic Foot and Ankle Center as their Medical Receptionist in August of 2017. It is a wonderful place to work and I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the staff and all of the patients in the practice. As one member of a team that puts patients first, it is a joy to play a part in helping them feel better. I am a graduate of Old Dominion University and have worked 9 years in the medical field. My time away from the office is spent with my husband, my children and my grandson. You will find me supporting the Washington Redskins and Virginia Tech during football season and the VCU Rams and Virginia Tech during basketball season. I also spend time at the beach in the summer, enjoy hiking in one of the many beautiful parks in the area, gardening in my yard, sewing or reading a good book.
Candi TalbottMedical Assistant
I have been in the medical field for over 20 years. I thoroughly enjoy patient care. I was a lead medical assistant instructor for an Allied Health College for several years. Patients often ask me, “why feet”- when you consider other parts of the body, feet are not always a bad thing. I enjoy reading non-fiction books, spending time with my family and dog, and going to the beach.
